eP1 Basic RiderCourse (eBRC) – Hybrid Course

In this course you will be taught safe riding skills, be tested by experiences certified Florida Rider Training Program (FRTP) State Licensed Evaluators, and earn your State of Florida Motorcycle Endorsement on your Driver License. This is a hybrid course meaning there are portions you are required to complete PRIOR to attending your in-person session.

Please allow up to 24 hours after registration to receive the online link to your course.

At Home:

You are required to complete the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) online 5-hour eP1 Classroom instructional videos. The Knowledge Test that you must pass to qualify for the Motorcycle Endorsement will be given when at our riding range and is based on what you learn from this 5-hour online instruction.
Once you have completed the online portion of this course, please upload your certificate of completion. If you do not complete the eP1 with proof of Completion Certificate before your 2-day riding training, then you will not be eligible to take the Florida required in-person Knowledge Test during your eBRC and will not meet the full qualifications for the Motorcycle Endorsement. This can result to you having to reschedule for another course date, there is a $100 rescheduling fee.
Under the FRTP rules, FAILURE to complete the eP1 within the above indicated timeframe will void your eBRC attempt and you will be required to reschedule and pay for the entire eBRC again.

On Site:

Day 1: Upon your arrival at the FLMTS riding range with proof of Certificate of Completion submitted, you will be given an eBRC Knowledge Test based on what you learned from the eP1. Then you will be trained in various riding skill exercises over the two days.
Day 2: After the riding skill training exercises, you will be given a Riding Skills Test. If you pass the test then you will be given a BRC Completion Card. You can take that card to the DMV and they will add the Motorcycle Endorsement onto your driver’s license.

Arrive 15 minutes early for administrative purposes on both days. If you arrive late you will not be allowed in the class and will be charged a $100 reschedule fee. Due to possible weather delays, etc., beyond our control, class may begin approximately ½ hour earlier &/or extend up to approximately 1 hour later.
